Miscellaneous Office Tasks

During your first year with JHS, you will be exposed to both audit and tax engagements as well other facets of our business, including consulting projects. By the end of that year, you may be ready to perform the majority of engagements on your own.  Travel time will vary according to your assignments. Overnight travel is rare and will be discussed with you before you are assigned to these engagements.

JHS will provide you with ongoing training in a variety of areas and in a variety of ways.  We will also allow you to use your time to prepare for the CPA exam and will pay you for time off to take it.

Your continuing professional education will include many hours of training in your first 12 months.  You will receive a new laptop computer for your use, fully equipped with the software you will need in your job assignments.

You will be matched with a mentor—usually a partner or a manager—who will help you define career objectives, find ways to meet them and address your concerns.
