Deanna is smart and passionate. For years, inspired by the idea that “four wheels move a body, but two wheels move a soul", she shared a saddle on her husband’s Harley Davidson.
But experience changes perceptions. She hung up her leather when she realized that “most motorcycle accidents are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.” She redirected her passion toward accounting, taking with her a lesson learned on the road, simple is better.
Deanna passionately attacked the tax codes, boiling them down to the essence. She made the complex understandable and the elusive tangible, much to the benefit of her clients.
She is now an active evangelist for the concept of “Simple” and crusades for change every time she sees complexity overtaking a good idea. She has, however, run into recent disappointment having her suggestions rejected by two companies:
"The Mars Candy Company refused to change the name of M&M’s to just plain “M’s” .
The Gap has rejected her idea of creating a trend of wearing only one sock to address the ever growing real world problem of washing machines and dryers consuming one sock every other wash load.
