Helen left the hardhat side of the construction business for the green eyeshade side in 1990. She was quickly drawn to the tax practice, inspired by the words of U.S. Senator Russell Long, “A tax loophole is something that benefits the other guy. If it benefits you, it is tax reform.” Helen considers herself a committed reformer.
Tax work is demanding and requires two things to be successful -- knowledge and creativity. She is a type ‘A’ researcher and is current on all matters related to tax. Her creative sewing projects keep the left side of her brain sharp. When asked if there are any major imponderables to which you would like to get answers, she replies, “When I sew, if I increase the speed of stitching by three or four times, will it count as aerobic exercise?”
Helen can be reached at (925)820-1821 to discuss reformer philosophy or to give coaching on sprint stitching.
