An early escapee from the rigid world of large international accounting firms, Mike’s passion for the outdoors is fueled by his fascination of the amazing accomplishments of the Spanish bicycle racer Miguel Indurain and the Russian climber Anatoli Boukreev. On many occasions Mike straddles his two wheeler for a pedal-commute from home in Orinda to the Danville office. While building a strong body to complement his focused mind, it is his hope to stimulate such a fitness craze throughout the San Ramon Valley, that traffic jams on 68O become a distant memory.
Mike’s fascination with problems has lead him to become a Certified Fraud Specialist and spend much of his time on litigation engagements including contract claims, forensic accounting and business valuations. He is a contributing author of The Construction Project, a page-turner in CPA circles and is contemplating a training manual for desk dwelling business persons desiring to pursue skiing, mountaineering, surfing, and other so called extreme activities whenever they find time to bust out of the executive suite.
